Recreation/Tourism

Come to Lyons and step back into history. Visit the Wayne County Museum and Historical Society, located at the Old County Jail on Butternut Street.  Sit and relax in Central Park and listen to various local bands on Wednesday evenings during July and August.  Stroll through the park during Peppermint Days in July and stop in at the Hotchkiss Building, at one time the longest running industry in the county.  Walk down to the canal and unwind in South-Side Canal Park and admire the beautiful murals.

Centered in the heart of Wayne County on the Erie Canal. Lyons is a must for a tourist stop.  Come visit our historical Village and stay a while.
